Custom Pages!!
I am working on some custom pages for my husband's niece and I wanted to share with you how precious this baby girl is!!!
I love to scrapbook and capture the beauty and preciousness of children and babies. I strive to make the photos the center of a layout. I want the papers and embellishments to draw the eyes to the photos been scrapped not the "stuff" on the page.
I also love clean and artistic lines in a layout. Don't like it to be too cutesy and full of critters!! :) I like my photos to tell the story. Leave the critters for the story books!! LOL
Have a blessed day!!

TIME FLIES!!!
This past week I got inspired to create a layout to record how time flies. I see it everyday as I put away baby's clothes that do not fit any longer, as I search for a new pair of shoes for my growing child, as I see Spring is gone, Summer is here, soon Fall will come.... time flies...and we waste so much time in what is temporal and forget the eternal.
So to remind myself of the preciousness of time, I created this layout that is up for grabs on Ebay. Check out the link to my listings on Ebay on the right side of this blog.
this is what I did:
1) I masked some flourishes using distressing inks. Then I hand cut some letters from a patterned paper. I used them to once again mask the background cardstock and adhered them to the top left after that.
2) I doodled on the images masked. I cut a large circle out of patterned paper.
3) I added a clock printed on vellum, as well as flourishes stamped on Vellum. I used clear rhinestones to show how precious time is, but how we let it go unnoticed.
4) Last I added the title in the flower and another question: "where did time go?" written out in the flourishes.
I think this would be a beautiful layout for before and after photos, i.e., first and last day of school, or your baby boy at 2 years old and then at 6 years old. Your child when he/ she started high school and graduation day...there are so many events that portray how time has flied and the changes it has brought. Enjoy!!!

this is ONE of my favorite layouts so far!!!
Just wanted to share with you...
The lighting does not do justice to this layout!! I got this layout listed on Ebay now!!
I had so much fun creating it...there is a lot of masking and doodling and so much light!! The black and white contrast really nice and all the extra color make the whole layout pop.
enjoy!!
I am DROWNING in so much paper!!!
I am purging again. About 2 months ago I listed a couple of huge Scrapbook lots on Ebay. A couple of weeks ago I listed a few Scrapbook magazines and book lots. Now I am again purging: a Huge Scrapbook lot with papers and stickers, books, storage items and more. Another lot with Jolees sticker and DIE cut stickers and other what nots.
Now, you got to understand I don't have a biz license. I don't resell scrapbook items or anything like that. Everything I am reselling is just Stuff I thought I desperately needed!! Ugh!!
So help a sister out... check out my auctions and pass the link on to your friends that need some of this stuff.
Thanks so much. For a preview of what I will be listing, check the photos below... :)
Here is another photo of more stuff...
more stuff...
Just type MTC in your search box and select CRAFT category and you will find me on Ebay!!
Have a blessed day!!

Parenting 101
"These two wear me out!! It takes double the time to do anything with them.", said my husband as he walked in from the backyard. He was planting some flowers with our two children who are under 5 years old. He had a couple of planters to fill with some full sun flowers and was having a hard time getting it done as fast as he wanted.
"yes, but they are learning with you.", that was my answer as he left through the back door after picking up whatever tool he came in for.
Almost immediately I began a conversation with God inside of me."You don't need us for anything. You can accomplish all Your plans on Your own. You don't need our help.", I said to God.
"Yes, but I choose to "use" you so you can learn.", was the answer I heard.
God began to show me the parallel between parenting and our relationship with Him. The same way we could cross off our to-do list very quickly without our children, we choose to let them participate in the chores for the sake of fellowship and learning experiences. Yes, it takes longer. Yes, it's tiring. But in the end our children feel fulfilled by the experience, and what they can do and the time they spent with Mom and Dad.
I am praying that God will help me be as patient and gracious with my children as He is with me!! Oh, Jesus, help me to learn my lessons effectively and in a timely manner so I don't have to go around the mountain again! :)
I got some layouts listed on Ebay right now. Would love to hear comments. I will post pictures here another day!!
God bless,
