August and September Challenges

I am now part of the More Paper Than Shoes design team. Last month we had a challenge to create something with a Trip to Paris in mind. I created a little notebook. I used digital papers and some Paris stamps to cover my little 3x4" book.

I embellished it with my ruffled ribbon and a fabric flower that I made. I know I am way late posting it.

For this month our challenge was a Rusty Bucket. As I brainstormed the theme trying to figure out what I was going to make, I realized I was feeling a bit like a rusty bucket myself. I got so much on my little bucket lately and sometimes I feel so rusty, tired and worn out. I feel like I am leaving a lot undone and although I still think I am only 28 years old, the mirror tells me otherwise.

Now, I am NOT the type to dwell on the negatives of life but when I was brainstorming for the card I was a bit tired and got carried away by my feelings. LOL So anyway, I had fun creating this little card to express my feelings.

Be sure to check the other designs for inspiration and do come up with something yourself. :) Also each week you can find out more about each of the members of the Design Team, so do stop by the blog to get to know us.

Have a blessed week, :)

Tereza
