What happened???

So, it's been over a month since I last posted on my blog. My Etsy shop is closed, my Ebay listings are down and my customers are emailing me asking what is up.

So if you have been wondering too...here is the big news: I am pregnant again!!! yes, Our fourth child is in the oven. Due to make his or her great appearance in February 2010.

I have been feeling very tired, nauseous and tired. Did I already say that? Yes, very tired. My working hours have been resumed to 0 per day. I am usually like this on the first trimester of all my pregnancies, so I am not worried at all. Just taking it easy and trying not to throw up (my gagging reflex is so bad, I have a hard time brushing my teeth.).

Yesterday, we went to see the baby and it is growing. I am at about 14 weeks along and baby is perfect!!

So, if you need anything from me, please email me but please be patient. I will probably be back in full swing in another month or so, but in the meantime, I am doing the best that I can. :)

Here are a few snapshots of 2 custom orders I did finish in the last 2 weeks. I will share more next week. My parents are going back to Brazil next week and we go back to our routine. :(

I want to thank everyone who have emailed me and those that follow my blog and have been asking "What happened?" Well, now you know! :)

Be blessed,

Tereza

The versatility of Damask

I have been away. My parents and my brother with his wife arrived 10 days ago from Brazil and we are having a great time enjoying each other. The children just cannot have enough of the grandparents. :)

I am finishing a couple of custom orders and have closed my ETsy shop temporarily. I will be re-opening in August. If you are interested in a custom bridal card or scrapbook album please contact me through the button on the side bar.

For now, I wanted to share the versatility of damask. I just love the classic look of a black and white damask background with any color on top of it. Just take a look at some examples below.

Below the latest custom order, the bride customized her own text. Each card has a special message for each bridesmaid.

I also have some news that I will be sharing another day. I hope you are enjoying summer. It's my favorite time of the year. :)

Thanks for stopping by,

On your Wedding Day Card

Once a bride now a friend's bride, a former customer asked me to customize and personalize a special card for her friend that is getting married. This is what we came up with together.

I think she loves red. I made her Bridesmaids' cards in red, now this card for her friend in red also. :)

I got more to share later on this week. I am running out of time. My parents arrive next week from Brazil and I am so very busy with lots of custom orders and getting the house ready for them.

Thanks for stopping by. :)

The Ultimate Bridesmaid's Card and a Dad Album

This week I am having to put the MOM album on hold. I am almost finished but my black Staz On ink pad is dry and I am having to wait on some to arrive, so in the meantime I am working on 3 other different projects at the same time. :)

I am finishing what I like to call the Ultimate Bridesmaids' Card. The Bride is already married. Let me explain: they are renewing their vows at Disney. My client is a lovely African American lady and she challenged me to create an "all out" card. This is what we came up with.

She wanted colors and bling. She also went all out to personalize the text on the inside of the card. I even upgraded her card size and I created a 5"x7" card.

The other project is a DAD album. On the same lines of the MOM album I talked about a couple of posts ago, this one is turning gorgeous too. I am using papers from the WEbster's line... the one with the froggies. :) Take a peek.

And the third project is some wonderful hybrid layouts and cards. I found a designer that does marvelous, colorful things and I just could not resist. I will share more another day with photos, links and all. I am using them personally but I will also make them available for those of you that like the digital colors and graphics but just don't have the time to create your own, or you don't master a photo editing program.

Anyway, hope you are having a great week. Thanks for stopping by. :)

Red and turquoise wedding, Pink and green and more Bridesmaids' Cards

May was definitely a busy month and in a funny way it seems it is not over yet! :) Here are some of the Custom Bridesmaids' Cards I made this past month. Among the usual Bridesmaids and Maid or Matron of honor cards I had Flower Girls and a thank you card for the Mother of the Bride.

I have been working on a new Custom order that I like to call the "Ultimate Bridesmaid Card." The bride is having a wedding at Disney so of course, we went all out. I will share more later this weekend. :)

I am also working on new Hybrid projects. I am hoping to help out those ladies that like to scrap but simply don't have the time. More to come on this subject next week.

And to finish this post with a big Ta-Da! I would like to announce that I am revamping my Scrap room or Studio. Take a peek at my other blog to see where I have been working all this time. :)

thanks for stopping by. :)

Custom Made Wedding Gift for the Mother of the Bride

Hi everyone, I hope you are having a great weekend. We are certainly enjoying the summer weather and the pool. :)

Let me show you what I have been working on.

This is a custom order for a very special lady. She is getting married and is giving this album as a memorable gift to her Mom. There is also a Dad album coming soon. :)

this altered album is massive. It stands at 8" tall and 14" long. It's not made of chipboard but MDF. It's heavy and sturdy and just gorgeous. This particular one, because my customer had so many photos, has 7 pages for a total of 14 pages.

I am again using the Graphic 45 papers - Baby to Bride collection and they just have a nostalgic vintage feel. Very pretty. :)

Of course, what you are seeing here is just the first layer of this album. I will now add photo mats, embellishments, stamps, flowers, lace, ribbon, pearls, words, texts and more. So please come back to see the final result.

I will also share later this week the Bridesmaids cards I have finished this past week. :)

Thanks for stopping by, and as always feel free to contact me for custom orders. :)
