Sneak peek of some scrapbooking goodness!!

Hi everyone,

I am sooooo busy! No, it's not with the back to school rush. We homeschool and unschool to be exact, so we learn everyday doing all sort of things at our own pace at home. :)

Anyway, I am busy scrapping. I am complaining and actually went to bed early last night because I having been doing a scrapping marathon. How many layouts have you done in about 7 hours??

I have done a bunch!!! In 2 days, in about 7 hours we finished 26 layouts, used 36 photos. Yes, they are just 8x8" but still...it's a lot of work and I am pooped.

Anyway, here are some sneak peeks and I promise to share some of the techniques and tips on my other blog. Enjoy!!

Unschooling

Hi everyone,

I am busy, busy, busy! I just finished BIKAS album and I will soon be posting photos and the last video tutorial.

In the meantime, I want to share with you a project a did awhile back with my children. We homeschool and actually unschool. That means do not go to school and we don't do the traditional school at home. We learn all the time every day. We read a lot, watch movies, do fun projects together, make up games, play lots of games, on the computer and on boards. We check out about 6 books per person at a time when we go to the library, about every 10 days, so that is about 30 books at a time. And we read them all many times over.

Did I tell you that besides all that I scrapbook and make cards too? Well, that is another story for another day.

Yes, a lot of times, I am pretty overwhelmed. Other times, I am having a blast and other times I am just plain tired. but loving every minute of it.

If you are curious, do Google Unschooling, homeschooling and anything else I typed up there.

Here are photos of our project...I just used different types of beans and let the kids make their own art using some chipboard and wood glue. All I showed them was how to spread the glue on the chipboard and use the beans to create patterns, images, shapes. I was amazed at what each one did.

My DD is 7 y.o., my DS is 4.75 y.o., my other DD is 2.75 y.o. and the baby was sleeping.

ok this one below is mine! But can you tell which one from above belongs to which child? BTW, I got this idea from an unschooling family blog from Australia.

I hope you enjoyed the art and thanks for stopping by. :)
